The Warren County Economic Development Committee and the Warren County Board of Agriculture will co-host an informational meeting for farms and small businesses to learn how to cut energy costs with USDA Rural Development Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) Grants and Loans. Grants up to 50% of total project costs are now available with the implementation of changes under the Inflation Reduction Act.
Maximum REAP grants increased to $500,000 for energy efficiency improvements and $1 million for renewable energy system installations. NJ’s Clean Energy incentives can also be combined with USDA REAP funds, further reducing out of pocket costs.
