State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP): Medicare Counseling for Warren County Residents
Who We Are
SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) is a free program sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, Division of Aging and Community Services, with major funding from the U.S. Department of Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Specially trained volunteers help Medicare beneficiaries understand their health care and save money by providing one-on-one counseling and information. SHIP services are free, unbiased, and confidential.

SHIP Medicare Open Enrollment October 15 - December 7 Medicare open enrollment occurs each year between October 15 and December 7 for the next plan year. During this time, you can make changes to Plan C, the Medicare Advantage Plan, and Plan D, the Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage. For more information with making appropriate decisions regarding your Medicare needs review the presentation slides. SHIP counseling are by scheduled appointments only, please call 908-475-6591. |
