Health department inspectors do the following:
- Inspect bathing places, youth camps & campgrounds
- Recreational bathing facilities include but are not limited to facilities such as public swimming pool, wading pool, or tub, spa, aquatic recreation facility, and use of pond, lake, stream, river, ocean, or other body of fresh or salt water being used as a public recreational bathing facility
- Inspects all river, lake bathing areas as well as all public swimming pools during the summer bathing season
- Inspects all registered youth camps in the county prior to seasonal opening
- Inspects all campgrounds in the county at least once a year
