Anyone interested in posting bail for an inmate, may do so by contacting the Correctional Center at (908) 475-7900.  This should be done to verify the amount of an inmate’s bail.  Please note that any criminal charge that will be heard in Superior Court includes a fifty dollar ($50.00) non refundable filing fee.

Option #1

During normal business hours, bail may be posted at the municipality or superior court where the charges originated.  The receipt of payment is then taken to the Correctional Center for verification prior to the release of the inmate.

Option #2

On a twenty four (24) hour basis, bail may be posted onsite at the Correctional Center by money order. Please note that cash will not be accepted at the Correctional Center.
