Volunteer Chore Corps and Fixit Services
The Chore Corps is Warren County's own Fixit Program helping Warren County Seniors with minor home repairs and maintenance.
Chore Corps Program volunteers perform small safety or health related home repairs and chores for Warren County residents age 60 and over. Labor is offered without charge; however, Seniors are asked to pay for material, and donations are always accepted.
This service is free to all Warren County Seniors. Our volunteers do not accept any form of payment. Donations are always welcome. Cost for material(s) needed to do the repair(s) is the responsibility of the client. Call 1 (877) 222-3737.

Chore Corps Needs Volunteers!
- Identify your skills (Plumbing, chores, carpentry, and electrical)
- Choose the area of the county you would like to work in.
- Let us know when you are available.
- Requests are matched to your abilities.
- You can either accept or reject the assignment.
- Mileage reimbursement can be requested.
Working only a few hours per month could be a great benefit to our friends and neighbors who need a little help around their house, but don't have the skill, energy, or health to do the job, or the finances to hire a professional.
If you're interested in taking on a volunteer position which will really impact someone's quality of life, with minimal investment of time, then the Chore Corps is for you!

The Nuts and Bolts
- The Chore Corps is not a home remodeling program, nor does it replace professional contracted work.
- The Chore Corps is a "fixit" program geared toward providing handyman type repairs and jobs around the house.
- Chore Corps volunteers will respond as quickly as possible to meet a request.
- Chore Corps volunteers may not be able or capable of meeting emergency requests.
- The Chore Corps will not do any jobs involving ladders or smoke detectors.
- The Chore Corps will not discriminate on the basis of handicap, sex, race, creed, national origin, or any other protected class.
- The Chore Corps does not charge a fee for any work.
- The cost of any materials used by the Chore Corps volunteer will be borne by the service recipient.
- Donations to the Chore Corps are accepted.
The Chore Corps is a joint venture of the Warren County Division of Senior Services, and The NORWESCAP, Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
