Tours of the main floor begin at 1 p.m. with last (abbreviated) tour beginning at 3:30 p.m.
This season our new series is called, "On the Daily" in which our docent will be presenting a variety of topics in our workers' kitchen (lower driveway).
This Sunday is "Laundry Day", a presentation and demonstration about how women did the laundry in the 18th c.-- making their own soap, hauling water, and even about their personal hygiene practices.
Doors to the dining room (lower porch) open at 1 p.m. and will close by 4 p.m.

Event is free to the public. Our Friends of Shippen is a volunteer group that accepts donations from our visitors at the end of the tours. All donated monies are used to purchase things for the museum.
