Museum Tours (1-4pm, last tour starts at 3:30 pm)
The museum will be open for tours of the main floor, only. Come and see the new displays for June!
Entrance(s) are along the boardwalk.
- Main entrance has one step up and is closer to Belvidere Ave.
- Our ADA entrance (no steps) is the last door on the boardwalk. Please knock on the door and our greeter will let you inside.
Parking on site is limited. If all spaces are filled, please park in town and walk over to the museum.
Our Friends of Shippen accept donations from visitors at the end of the tours. All monies are used for the museum.

Come and visit with Cat, our special topic docent as she discusses the change in social attitude towards children from the early to late 18th c. regarding dress, diseases, education, occupations, &recreation.
Lower level dining hall (off lower porch) and workers' kitchen.

Shippen Manor Presents: 18th c. Carpentry Demonstration
Visit with Scott as he demonstrates carpentry along the lower driveway with tools men would use during the 18th c.
Admission to the museum and for the programming is free to the public.
