Shippen Manor: Shippen & the Revolution

Shippen & the Revolution

 Museum Tours (11 am - 4 pm): Self-Guided Tours

The museum will be open for self-guided tours (main floor, only) with docents available to speak with our visitors. Shippen's Revolutionary War history will also be on display.

Visit with the 2nd NJ

Visit with the 2nd NJ Helms Company who will be positioned along the lower drive/porch of the museum. Programming schedule TBA.

Parking, accessibility, and more

Our small Belvidere Ave lot near the boardwalk that leads to the museum entrances is available only for those vehicles with handicap tags. The back parking and driveways will be closed to vehicles and we are encouraging all visitors to park in town and walk over (see map below).

Our Friends of Shippen accept donations from visitors at the end of the tours. All monies are used for the museum.

For more information regarding this event, accessibility, parking & inclement weather, please visit our programming page.  If there is a modification or cancellation due to inclement weather (for outside activities), please visit our Facebook (Shippen Manor) the day of the event. 

If additional ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accommodations are required, all requests must be submitted in writing up to two (2) weeks prior to the programming event and we will do our best to accommodate.
