Welcome to the Manor!
Shippen Manor is participating in the 2021 Warren County History Trail, coordinated by the Friends of Ramsaysburg and sponsored, in part, by the County History Partnership Program (CHPP) grant. Shippen Manor is planning to participate on Sun., 11/7 from 12-4pm (we have extended our normal hours for today). Docents will be providing "Porch Tours" of the Manor (museum entrances/boardwalk along upper driveway) and an activity for children on the lower porch.
In addition to exploring Warren County's Historical Shippen Manor today, you can also learn about exploring nature in Warren County Parks. Department of Land Preservation Community Service-Aide, Jennifer Correa-Kruegel will be there with her "Ask a Naturalist" table with hands-on natural artifacts and a small craft that can be taken home. Jennifer will be located along the lower drive and/or lower porch of the Manor for the duration of our museum day.

Tours
Porch Tours will be provided, free of charge, for our visitors by the Friends of Shippen docents. The interior of the museum is closed at this time. The children's activity will be on the porch along the lower driveway.
The driveway will be closed for through traffic along the lower drive. If using our back parking lot, please drive slowly and exercise caution when exiting on the upper driveway.
Parking Information
The Manor has limited parking. Accessible parking at the end of the boardwalk nearest Belvidere Avenue. There is on-street parking on Washington Ave. (past the stone church), Wall Street (please pay attention to parking signs), and the Oxford municipal lot off Allen Ave (by In the Nick of Time Tailors). Please do not block driveways or park on Washington Ave. below the Manor. Violators may be ticketed by the local police.
Additional Information
Food and drink are not permitted inside of the museum. Certified service animals are permitted to enter with their handlers. Other pets are not permitted inside of the museum.
This is a family-friendly historic site.
Shippen Manor is a part of the Warren County Parks System and is an alcohol, drug and tobacco-free site.
