Today, the 27th NJ will be set up on the grass along the lower drive. Be sure to stop by and visit the men of the regiment.

Firing demonstrations will be at 1 and 3pm today.

Museum Tours:

The museum will not be open for tours today. Cultural & Heritage staff will be on-site to speak with visitors regarding the history of the Manor.

Additional Information:

The Manor has limited parking. Accessible parking is at the end of the boardwalk nearest Belvidere Avenue and is first come first serve. There is also on-street parking on Washington Avenue (past the Church), Wall Street, and in the Oxford municipal parking lot off Allen Ave (road is by "In the Nick of Time Tailors").

Museum Entrances:

The museum has two public entrances along our upper driveway. Once the museum is opened to the public (TBD), visitors can enter through our "Robeson Study Entrance" (closest to Belvidere Avenue), which has one step up into the building. For those requiring assistance, we have our accessibility entrance at the "Reception Room" (middle porch).

Food and drink are not permitted inside of the museum. Certified service animals are permitted to enter with their handlers. Other pets are not permitted inside of the museum.

This is a family-friendly historic site.

Shippen Manor is a part of the Warren County Parks System and is an alcohol, drug and tobacco-free site.
